Filming reports from Lee Tucker and John Preddle, 11th March 2008
Lee:
I got there about 3.30.
Missed DT but saw the Tardis and watched Billie Piper filming her stuff.
There was a milk float used in some of the filming earlier on. the crew were
rocking the float in a scene.
Billie was holding a very large gun and they took aerial shots of her looking
up and cocking the gun.
She signed a few autographs and took a few pics which was nice.
Watching the tardis being dismantled was funny.
Jon:
I saw a short scene involving a crashed milk truck. Broken bottles strewn over
the street. The milkman (actor's first name was "Andrew", as called to him by
director Graeme Harper) was standing by his crashed truck. A wind machine was
blowing nearby and Andrew had to turn and look up at something in the sky.
A camera crane was overhead filming him from above.
They did a rehearsal, then a take - and since Harper was satisfied with that
a wrap was announced and they started packing up at 8.35.
I couldn't get a close look at the clapperboard (it was held upside down for the
solitary take) and couldn't hear the 'scene number' being called out. When I
asked a crew member what episode this was for he said he didn't know!
