Miranda Cardew (afternoon): David Tennant really jovial today, gave a few waves and "I love you too"'s! They were filming a funeral procession with the mystery woman, David Morrissey and Tennant, and by the end the cyber wraith (which they are understandably trying to keep hidden as much as possible!).

(evening): Couldn't see much, I got there at 11pm, a couple of vans divided a couple of groups of fans, there was nothing to see, and for an hour the TARDIS remained covered and all we heard was the occassional shout while they filmed inside. A couple of fans on our side decided to call it a day, and then someone else turned up, not exactly a steady coming and going. You're standing there thinking is it actually worth the cold? But then a bit of movement in the archway, the crew putting a couple of the victorian billboards back up, and we think that maybe fiming's going to come this way again. Then a woman and a little boy came up and said "He's gone back to base now, so we're giving up and going home", don't have a clue who they were, none of us did, but anyway luckily we took not a jot of notice because within seconds the two davids were in the arch loosely rehearsing some scene! So that was our cue to hang around for another 3 hours til the end!

Anyway, the filming was still taking place in the courtyard but they moved all the monitors to our side of the arch. I can't really work out what the scene was except it was dialogue towards the end of the episode, Morrissey mentions being a widow and the scenes they'll be filming tonight involve the two David's outside the TARDIS.

Four hours out in the cold is all worth it when the main man comes over to say hello to the die hard fans still standing at 3am! I'm still grinning inanely!
