Filming for Doctor Who Series 5 at Jacob's Antique Centre, 28th August 2009
11:37 alun_vega - Base is in private carpark outside warehouse on Curran St. Visible trailer doors read: The Doctor, Amy, Enemy No 2, and... Churchill.
12:00 alun_vega - alun_vega: Curran Rd is the base. More trailer signs read Blanche, Lillian, and Voice Of Enemy ;)
12:30 alun_vega - No indication of filming at warehouse. No Panalux vans. But no signs leading away from Base. Hmm.
12:47 alun_vega - Panalux vans at Jacob's Antiques Centre. Peter Bennet spotted. I think this is our location. Interior, possibly basement.
13:02 alun_vega - Can I just take the opportunity to advertise the DW memorabili a shop upstairs in Jacob's, cos the chap who runs it is so nice.
13:13 alun_vega - Filming is in the basement of Jacobs antique Market. Nothing to see. Matt, Karen, Nick Briggs, and - I think - Bill Paterson on set.
13:38 alun_vega - I just heard a Dalek say "Would you care for some tea?" !!!
13:41 alun_vega - Dialogue overheard, Matt Smith (shouts): "I am the Doctor and you are the Daleks!" I have goosebumps!
13:46 alun_vega - Danny Hargreaves on set too.
13:48 alun_vega - Matt sounds utterly fantastic. He's using his own accent.
13:52 alun_vega - Karen and Bill sound Scottish. Briggsy sounds Dalek-y :)
14:56 alun_vega - Lunchtime. Fun shenanigans smuggling cast out. Nick Briggs waved like royalty. Unrecognised actor playing what looked like Churchill.
15:07 ScootyBoy - Matt smith spotted in person at Jacob's Market
15:09 ScootyBoy - Got picture of briggs and saw the other lead dalek operator. So confirms 2 daleks. Gone for lunch now."
16:36 alun_vega - Filming continuing in Jacobs basement. Scene with Doctor, Churchill, and Bill Paterson's character (a professor, apparently)
