Beachfields Quarry
Cormongers Lane, Redhill, Surrey
Beachfields Quarry is part of a once extensive sand extraction project operated by the Fullers' Earth Union Ltd, commenced in 1954; it was subsequently taken over by LaPorte Industries Ltd., and in recent years the exhaustion of material has led to the areas around Cormongers Lane to be wound down, with the upper part of the quarry now a landfill site.

Road: Head south along the A25 Redstone Hill and follow it around into Nutfield Road. Turn left into Cormongers Lane and then continue down the hill until you reach Chilmead Lane. Parking: in the lane, limited. +
