Beacon Hill
Beacon Hill Road, Ewshot, Hampshire
Beacon Hill was originally a sand and gravel pit, then a landfill site, now forest for water conservation. An area of tumuli exist to the southern side, and it was in this area that filming took place.

The area has recently been deforrested, which may be down to how crumbly the ground is around the whole area! The old structure that was used as the entrance to the laboratory is in surprisingly recognisable condition, though the erosion of the pit behind it could mean that it might disappear off the edge in the not too distant future!

"Beacon Hill Research Establishment" - Not to be confused with the station that featured in Terror of the Autons - that is actually near Dunstable!
