Beacon Hill Road (The Ambassadors of Death). The area of Beacon Hill Road used in the story is just a little further north than the entrance to the open area at this location.

Additional locations as the crow flies:

»

Claycart Bottom (The Ambassadors of Death): 1.91 miles.

»

Eelmoor Training Circuit (The Ambassadors of Death): 2.20 miles.

»

Fleet Road (The Ambassadors of Death): 2.53 miles.

General Details:

»

The area has recently been deforrested, which may be down to how crumbly the ground is around the whole area! The old structure that was used as the entrance to the laboratory is in surprisingly recognisable condition, though the erosion of the pit behind it could mean that it might disappear off the edge in the not too distant future!

»

"Beacon Hill Research Establishment" - Not to be confused with the station that featured in Terror of the Autons - that is actually near Dunstable!
