Eelmoor Training Circuit
Claycart Bottom, Aldershot, Hampshire

The Eelmoor Training Circuit is used by the MOD for the testing of army vehicles. As with much of the area around Aldershot the land is accessible by the public when the MOD are not using it themselves.

22 Jul 2011: Several organisations make use of the circuit when it is free, which includes DriveAt15 that provides driving lessons to those under the age of 17, and the Camberley Skaters. The site is also often used as an overflow car park for the Farnborough Air Show.

How to get here from Fleet Road:

»

Walk: Eelmoor Road and Eelmoor Plain Road are on the MOD land that runs alongside Fleet Road; it can be accessed via the car park beside the MOD Test Unit a little further north along Fleet Road. +

General Details:

The roads used to lead directly into Fleet Road, but are now enclosed within the MOD land. The area has changed quite a bit since the 1970s and it isn't certain exactly where all filming might have taken place for the sequence when the Doctor takes Recovery 7.
