The Eiffel Tower, built in 1887, is believed to be the most visited monument in the world! Originally meant to only stand for 20 years, it survived due its convenience as a radio transmitter in the early 20th Century, and subsequently became a victory state for its use during the First World War for dispatches to the Marne frontline.

Trocadéro Metro Station (City of Death). Head across the Seine over Pont d'léna and then walk trhough the Palais de Chaillot park to Trocadéro on the far side.

Dupleix Métro Station (City of Death). Head across the Parc du Champs de Mars until you reach the central road. Turn right and head out of the park onto Rue Desaix. At the end, turn left onto Boulevard de Grenelle and towards the Dupleix Metro station.

Petit Pont (City of Death). Rail: Line C. Walk west along Quai Branly by the Seine to Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel station, and then take Line C through to Saint Michel Notre-Dame. Exit the station and then walk along the Quai de Montebello towards Notre Dame until you reach Petit Pont (bridge).
