Formerly known as Granville Colliery Spoil Heaps
Granville Colliery was the last deep coal mine left in Shropshire until it's closure in November 1979. The area has now become a nature reserve, with the old coal spoil heaps becoming heathland.

Road: Turn right out of the car park and follow Legges Way to the roundabout. Cross over onto Kemberton Road and continue until you reach the roundabout with the A442. Head north and bear right along the A442 and then continue past Telford until you reach the B4373. From here turn right on the roundabout and follow the B4373 towards Donnington Wood. Pass the ASDA and then at the next roundabout cross over onto Granville Road. Continue along here until you reach the nature reserve car park. (8.3 miles, 17m) +
