Hambleton Woods
Rutland, Leicestershire

Rutland Water is a manmade reservoir, created when the Gwash Valley was flooded in 1975. As well as providing water for the area, it is also a popular venue for water sports, and much of the lake and its surrounds are home to a variety of wildlife and managed by the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust.
