31 Jan 2011: The production base for the M4 filming in Miracle Day was at the Hampton Hotel Newport, opposite the Magor Brewery.

12 Sep 2008: The production team were granted permission to film along the M4 between junctions 25A and 24, with police managing traffic during this period.

Trivia:

The scenes with Gwen on the motorway are intercut with Rhys talking about a house to buy (Fields Park Avenue). The scene shows Gwen seeing the Severn Bridge ahead, but then cuts back to her driving along the original stretch!
