Whitecliff Bay (The Sea Devils). Road (3.0 miles, 10m) : Head east through Yaverland on the B3395 and continue along here until you reach a small sideroad on the right (signposted Whitecliff Bay). At the end of this road turn right onto Peacock Hill, and then follow the road to Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park. Parking: caravan park (charge may apply).

Follow this and then turn left onto the Broadway (A3055), and then continue on through town until you reach Newport Road (A3056) - turn right into it and then follow it through to Newport. Once there, head towards Whippingham (A3054), and once there turn left towards East Cowes (A3021). When you reach East Cowes, on York Avenue, turn right into New Barn Road, and the castle is at the end of the road. Note: the castle is private so you can only get to the gates! Parking: roadside.

The main problem with these cliffs is erosion, so the actual "cliff" that the Doctor and Jo arrived at would have disappeared into the sea a long time ago!
