Regent Street was designed by architect John Nash and completed in 1825, being dedicated to the then Prince Regent, the future George IV. It was completely rebuilt from 1904 to 1927 into the "modern" road of today, with only All Souls Church remaining from the original design!

Walk: Head to the top of Haymarket and turn left, into Piccadilly Circus. Cross over to the north side and then walk along Regent Street, to just before the bus stops. +
