Production Notes:

»

Filming scheduled for the 8th November was disrupted by heavy rainfall, so a remount took place on the 16th November instead.

»

The area in front of the Riverside Arts Centre doubled up as the Thames embankment for scenes that couldn't be completed in London itself during Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel. Director Graeme Harper observed on the latter's commentary that the departure scene could only be shot in London in the river direction due to filming having to end at 7:00pm, hence the shots of the TARDIS were in Newport instead (with Newport's bus station appearing in the background!).
