Riverside Drive
Ham, Middlesex
Riverside Drive runs along by the Thames in Ham, with a housing estate on one side and open ground on the other leading to the river's edge. There are a number of playing fields on its northern edge, not too far from Ham House.
Since filming, the road has been resurfaced and the street lights have been moved from away from the edge of the pavement.
How to get here from Parkfields Road:
»
Road: Head south on Park Road, then turn right into Tudor Drive. Cross over at the lights (A307) and continue on Duke Avenue. This then becomes Riverside Drive, and Croft Way will eventually be on the right. (1.9 miles, 6m) +
»
Bus: Head south on Park Road, then turn right and cross over to the bus stop on Tudor Drive. Take the 371 towards Richmond, then get off when you reach Broughton Avenue (Mariner Gardens).
