Winchester Square
Southwark, London

Formerly known as St. Mary's Overy Wharf

Winchester Square is a modern redevelopment of the old dock warehouses at St. Mary's Overy Wharf; though the buildings bear little resemblance to the streets from the 1970s, the iron buttress on the corner has been retained in the new design.

How to get here from Old Billingsgate Market:

»

Walk: Head west along Lower Thames Street, and then up the steps onto London Bridge; cross the bridge to the south bank, and then descend the stairs onto Tooley Street. Head under the bridge into Montague Close, and then follow this around the cathedral to the left into Cathedral Street. +
