The best place to park is at Westbury-upon-Severn; there is a layby by the Westbury Gardens.
Walk past the church and turn left along Bell Lane. This takes you to a footpath which then leads to the house/field seen in the story. Go left through the gate and follow the lane to the cliffs. There is no direct access onto the shore/cliffs, you'll need to climb over the wall and walk along the well-trodden path down to the shore. Note, you can only access during low tide, and it can be very muddy!
