Shepperton Studios were established by Norman Loudon in 1931 in Littleton Park. After the war the studios were operated by British Lion Films and is notable for films such as A Passage to India, The Crying Game, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and Chaplin. It became part of the Pinewood Group in 2001.
