Road: A40 - Head northwest towards Denham, then turn right into Denham Avenue. The second main turning on the left is Tilehouse Lane (before the railway bridge). Follow this along until you pass the airfield, then Halings Lane will be on the left-hand side. Denham Manor is at the end of the tarmac-ed road. Parking: Manor car park. +

Denham Aerodrome (Fury from the Deep, The Invasion). From the Manor Gates, walk right up Halings Lane, then turn right into Tilehouse Lane and follow this to Hanger Road - the aerodrome is to the right.

Tilehouse Lane (The Five Doctors). From the Manor Gates, walk right up Halings Lane, then turn right into Tilehouse Lane and follow this past the aerodrome until you reach the junction with Denham Green Lane.

Springwell Lock (The Three Doctors). Road (3.7 miles, 10m) : Head back along Haling's Lane, then turn left into Tilehouse Lane. Follow this to the main road, and then turn left (A412). Keep following until you reach the roundabout signposted to the M25, then continue across towards Rickmansworth. Springwell Lane is on the right, and the lock is about a mile along here. Parking; car park by the lock.
