The Dyffryn Estate is owned by the Cory family, and was leased to Glamorgan County Council in 1939 for 999 years. In 1996 the council bought the Freehold and the grounds were restored to its original design. The house itself is currently closed to the public, and may be turned into a hotel/restaurant, or residential homes.

Admission: £6.00 for adults (summer)

How to get here:

Road: M4 - Exit the M4 at junction 33, and head south on the A4232 towards Barry/Penarth. Continue along the A4232 until you reach the Culvercross roundabout, then follow the A48 towards Cowbridge. At St. Nicholas, turn left - signposted Dyffryn Gardens - and the the gardens will be on the right after 1.5 miles. +
