The hospital is a group of almshouses that were built in 1509 by William Ford for the poor. Though badly damaged by a bomb during WWII it has been restored to it's former glory.

Cheylesmore Manor House (The Shakespeare Code). Head south on Greyfriars Lane, then cross over and walk between the buildings towards the church. Cross over New Union Street, turning left and then right through a gap in the parade to the manor house. (0.2 miles, 3m)

Follow New Union Street as it bears left and left again to join the A4053
ringroad. Exit two junctions later and follow the A4114 and then A444
out of town. Cross the A45 roundabout onto the A46 and then follow this until
you reach the M40. Take the first left on this roundbout and follow the
A429 into Warwick. As you reach the High Street, the hospital is on the left.
