John Adam Street runs behind the Royal Society of the Arts to the north and the Adelphi Building to the south. The road is named after John Adam, one of a successful family of architects from the 18th Century that were responsible for the Adelphi developments in the area.

Underground (Northern/Bakerloo): Charing Cross - Exit the station onto the south side of The Strand, and then head east until you reach George Court; head down onto John Adam Street and turn left, passing Robert Street on the right. The location used is opposite the Adelphi Hotel. +
