Leeds Castle: Mill
Leeds, Maistone, Kent, ME17 1PL

The Mill was derelict for many years and had become overgrown. However, between 1985 and 1989 the area was restored by E. Filmer, the Castle stonemason. Part of the work included digging out the old waterwheel, and when completed a new channel created to allow water to flow through the mill to the main stream again.

How to get here:

»

Walk: Enter the grounds and then follow the path past the Duckery and through the Wood Garden onto the Pavilion Green. Head up the steps on the far side and then down alongside the brook to the mill. +
