Lindsey Street
London

Lindsey Street runs along the east end of Smithfields Market, crossing above the underground and mainline railways.

2011: With work being undertaken on the Crossrail project, the eastern side of the street has been demolished (with the exception of an old lavatory that seems to have survived, though hidden behind the fencing).

How to get here:

»

Underground (District/Circle/Hammersmith&City)/Rail: Barbican - Exit the station and turn right and right again into Long Lane. Follow the road up to Smithfields, then turn right into Lindsey Street. +

»

Bus: Barbican Bus Map - Long Lane is next to stops BA/BB (routes 4 and 56). Walk along Long Lane to the junction with Lindsey Street. +
