How to get here:

Rail: Guildford - Exit the station and walk down to the large roundabout. Cross over and head south on the A3100 (Portsmouth Road) and on the left is The Mount. Follow this all the way to the end, passing a camping area and then onto the public footpath/bridlepath. Follow this to the station, and filming was just beyond the station where a footpath heads left to fields. (~ 1.0 miles, ~ 20m) +

Road: A31 - Follow the A31 into Guildford. At the large roundabout in town, head south onto the A3100, and then take the next right onto The Mount. Follow this to its end where there is a camping area. +

Parking Details

Roadside (uncertain). From here follow the public footpath/bridlepath to the station - filming took place just past the station where another footpath on the left heads through the fields.

The old road is now a bridlepath, and has become more overgrown; the turning down the hill has now been closed off and has a stile leading to a public footpath.

High Street (The Silurians). Road (4.9 miles, 14m) : Follow the Mount to the end, and then turn right onto the A3100. Follow this out of Guildford and continue on until you reach Godalming. When on Flambard Way, turn right into South Street, where there is car park. Parking Pay and display car park (free on Sundays). Walk down to the High Street and then then follow it to the far end.

When I visited the site I actually parked at the other end of the footpath, off-road on Down Lane (between the A31 and A3); this is a little nearer to the transmitter station, though I'm not sure about the parking situation (it was fine on a Sunday!).
