Barnsley House was built in the 17th Century, but is more well known for its award-winning gardens designed by Rosemary Varey in the 1950s. The house and gardens are now a hotel.

Road: M4 - Exit the M4 at junction 15, and head north around Swindon on the A419. Continue on to Cirencester (where it becomes the A417). At the junction with the A429 and B4425, take the B4425 towards Barnsley, and the hotel is in the village. Parking: unknown. +
