Bishops Court is a 16th Century manor house, set in an acre and half of walled gardens, next to the river Stour to the north of Shapwick. It is a popular wedding venue for receptions.

How to get here:

»

Road: A350 - The A350 runs between Poole and Blandford Forum; when you reach the junction with the B3075 (near Spetisbury), turn into the opposite road, heading northeast and crossing the river. Follow this road as it bears right and then heads up a hill (single track), and this eventually arrives at Shapwick. Bishop's Court is on the right as you enter the village (road bends right then left). +
