Road: A5 - Follow the A5, and then head south on the B4407. Carreg y Foel-gron is near the junction with the B4391. (9.5 miles, 14m) +

Cwt y Bugail Quarry (McAlpine) (The Five Doctors). Road (6.5 miles, 15m) : Head south on the B4407, then turn right onto the B4391 towards Llan Ffestiniog. As you enter the town, turn right and cross over the railway, and then turn right and pass back under the railway towards Cwm Teigl. The (steep?) road continues on towards the quarry. Note: the whereabouts of filming at this location is unconfirmed.
