The King's Men forms part of the Rollright Stones, hailing from Neolithic times. The 77 stones are made of oolitic limestone and form a perfect circle some 104 feet wide.

Road: A44 - At Chipping Norton, head north along the A3400 towards Shipston on Stour, then turn left towards Little Rollright. The King's Men are a little way on the left of the road. Parking: limited. +

"The stones on screen look much taller than the ones seen in the circle today, but the one centre-left is clearly the one from the story - the same holes appear on it! Either they've sunk into the ground or have been repositioned in some way!"

Manor Farm (The Stones of Blood). Head west along until you reach the Toll House, then left heading down towards the Darcy Dalton Way (national footpath). Follow the path west through the fields of Manor Farm. Alternatively follow the footpath to the Whispering Knights Burial Chamber, and then follow the Darcy Dalton Way to the farm. Note: the whereabouts of filming at this location is unconfirmed.
