Created in 1934, the park is dedicated to the MP Morgan Jones, who was memorable as a conscientious obejector in the First World War and later the Labour Party's expert of education.

Road: M4 - Exit the M4 at junction 32, and head north towards Pontypridd on the A470. When you reach the A468, exit and head towards Caerphilly. Cross over the next roundabout onto Nantgarw Road and continue into town. When you reach Crescent Road (by the castle), turn left and the park is at the end. (4.8 miles, 9m) +

Rail: Aber - Exit right from the station onto Nantgarw Road, then follow it to Crescent Road. Turn left and the park is at the end of the road. (0.3 miles, 6m) +
