Pyscodlyn Mawr Reservoir
Hensol Forest, Welsh St Donats, South Glamorgan
Pyscodlyn Mawr Reservoir sits in Hensol Forest; it is now used for private fishing.
The area has become very overgrown in recent years, and the open area to the lake seen in screen captures is now a forest in its own right!
How to get here:
»
Road: A48 - Follow the A48 to Cowbridge and then head north on the B4222, passing through Aberthin. Turn right onto Watery Lane to Welsh St Donats, and then at the village turn left onto Heol Mynydd and then right. Follow this road over a crossroads and there will be a car park on the left. (3.0 miles, ~7m) +

There a car park for Hensol Forest

Cross the road and follow the footpath south to the lake, then walk around it to the ford - the area here was where the picnic took place, and just up the track is where the police box stood.
