Third Way
Wembley, London

Third Way borders the eastern side of the Wembley estate, and originally provided access to the HM Government Pavilion. This grand structure was demolished in 1973, and the great lions that adorned its front steps are now located at Woburn Safari Park.

19th Nov 2007: Having been closed to the public since the early 2000s, being used as a base for the Wembley Stadium construction crews, the road has finally been reopened.

How to get here:

»

Underground (Metropolitan/Jubilee): Wembley Park - Exit the station and walk down the steps under the road towards Wembley Stadium along Olympic Way. At the end, turn right into Engineers Way. +

»

Bus: Wembley Park Bus Map - Buses PR2 and 92; the roads around Third Way are a one-way system, with the Canon Industrial Estate to the north and Fourth Way to the south. +

"The northern part of Third Way is now completely blocked off, so there isn't any access to where the Pavilion used to be any longer."

Engineer's Way (The Dalek Invasion of Earth). Head north along Third Avenue, then turn left into Fifth Way. Follow this around into First Way, and then turn right into Engineer's Way. Continue along here past Wembley Park and Olympic Way until you reach the Palace of Industry.
