The gardens to the east have a variety of different layouts to explore, which include the Lime Walk and nearby statue of Queen Victoria, relatively new Beech Walk and a restored tollhouse, a small Canal facing off against the Private Garden, and then the octagonal pond leading into the White Garden further to the north.

Walk: Enter the admissions centre, then walk to the front of the house, then through the archway to the east, passing through the Corona and Lion's Mouth into the east gardens. +

Athelhampton House (Corona) (The Seeds of Doom). From the Bell Gate, walk south towards the Victoria statue, then right through the Lion's Gate arches, and the continue through the arch into the Corona Garden.

Athelhampton House (Private Garden) (The Seeds of Doom). Walk through the Bell Gate to the Private Garden. Note: this is sometimes locked when the houseowners are in residence, in which case follow the path north to the octagonal pond, and then turn left and walk through to the White Garden, where there is a gate to the Private Garden to the south.

Athelhampton House (North Drive) (The Seeds of Doom). From the Bell Gate, walk north beside the lime trees and wall, past the octagonal pond and onto the driveway by the river. Then turn left and walk along here until you pass the bridge across the river.
