Thermo Plastics Ltd was taken over by Linpac in the 1970s, focussing on their Automotive division. In 2005 this division was sold to the Barr Family, and Linpac was relaunched as Ecomold Ltd, considered to be one of Europe's largest moulding companies.

Road: A5 - At Dunstable, turn onto the A505 towards Luton. Follow the road under the railway bridge, and the factory will be on the right-hand side. +

The A505 is a main road and there is no parking available; there is a road to the side of the factory that you can park on.
This location is private and has no or limited access only. The reception building used in the story can be viewed from Luton Road across the car park.

Both the warehouse and the back wall still exist at the site, but are at the back and permission could not be granted to access them due to Health and Safety regulations. However, security believe it is possible to see those locations from the footpath along old railway line that runs beside the factory.

Associated Portland Cement Company Quarry (The Macra Terror). Road (2.0 miles, 6m) : Turn left from the factory and follow the A505 under the railway bridge.
Turn right onto the A5, and then continue along until you reach the A5120
(Houghton Regis). Turn right onto Houghton Road and continue past the college
and lake until you reach Millers Way.

Zouches Farm Relay Station (Terror of the Autons). Road (2.4 miles, 7m) : Turn left from the factory and follow the A505 under the railway bridge.
Turn left onto the A5 and then continue out of Dunstable until you reach
some traffic lights, signposted Caddington. Turn left into Dunstable Road,
passing the school on the left, and then the farm road will be next
on the left.
Roadside, by the gates into Zouches Farm (you can then walk up the farm road, which is a public footpath.
