Seven Sisters Country Park
Exceat, Seaford, East Sussex

The country park takes its name from the chalk cliffs that form part of the Sussex coast, and takes in some 700 acres of farmland, the cliffs, the Cuckmere river valley and surrounding grasslands.

How to get here:

Road: A26 - Follow the A26 to Newhaven, then join the A259 towards Eastbourne. After passing through Seaford, the country park will be on the right-hand side. +

Car park for the country park. Price: £2.00 for two hours.

The Lane (The War Games). Exit the park and cross the road, then follow it west, bearing right onto Litlington Road. Follow this until you reach The Lane on the right-hand side.

Birling Manor Farm (The War Games). Road (3.3 miles, 7m) : Turn right out of the country park carpark and head towards East Dean. Once in the village, turn right onto Gilbert's Drive and then follow the road down to the Sheep Centre and the farm as the road bends right onto Birling Gap Road. Parking Roadside.

Eastbourne Waterboard Road (The War Games). Road (2.8 miles, 5m) : Turn right out of the country park carpark and head towards East Dean. As the forest ends, turn left into Old Willingdon Road, and then bear left onto Jevington Road. There is a forest car park just along on the left. Parking Friston car park (£1.50)
