Peacehaven, East Sussex
Telscombe Cliffs run along the south coast of England, between Saltdean and Peacehaven. West of Saltdean towards Brighton there are coastal defences in place, but the chalk cliffs east of Saltdean are undefended and actively being eroded!
How to get here:
Road: A27 - Follow the A27 to between Brighton and Lewes. At Falmer, turn onto the B2123 towards Saltdean. Once you arrive there, turn left onto the A259 towards Peacehaven. Access to the cliffs is on the right as you pass the lido. +
The side roads provide free parking
Walk down the slope to the beach, then head left towards the end of the Undercliff. Follow the slope down just before the end and then walk along the edge to the groyne, and around that to the cliffside just past it.

Sheepcote Valley (The War Games). Road (4.3 miles, 11m) : Head west out of Saltdean along the A259 towards Brighton. As you reach the marina (on the left), turn right at the roundabout onto Roedean Road, and then right at the traffic lights onto Wilson Avenue. Head up towards the northern end of the road (near Warren Road). There is a gravel layby next to the grassland near the racecourse and Warren Road.
Brighton Beach (The Leisure Hive). Bus: Brighton Bus Map. Buses 12, 12A and 13 run from Telscombe Cliffs to The Palace Pier (Sea Life Centre). Road (6 miles, 18m) : Follow the A259 west to Brighton. Parking is tricky in town, there are car parks and meters!
Routes to more distant locations:
Seven Sisters Country Park (The War Games). Road (10.1 miles, 25m) : Head east out of Saltdean towards Peacehaven, and then continue along the A259 as it heads through Newhaven and Seaford. The country park will be on the right hand side after Seaford, not long after the bridge crossing the river. Car park for the country park. Price: £2.00 for two hours.

It is worth checking tidal times for the beach before arrival, as the sea does come right into the Undercliff edge and could potentially cut you off at the cliff.
This area is an unofficial nudist beach!
