St. Peter's Court
Chalfont St. Peter, Buckinghamshire
The parish of Chalfont St. Peter was established in the seventh century along the river Misbourne; with a population of some 13000 it is now one of the largest villages in south-east England! St. Peter's Court is a shopping precinct opposite the church.

When you reach the roundabout signposted Chalfont St. Giles, turn left into the village; turn right onto Silver Hill, and as it becomes Dodds Lane bear left onto Bottrells Lane. Continue on until you reach Bottom House Farm Lane, and there is a car park on the right.

Elmswell House (Paradise Towers). Road (2.9 miles, 7m) : Drive out of St. Peter's Court, turning right; on the roundabout take the A413 north. When you reach the roundabout signposted Chalfont St. Giles, turn right up the hill onto Vache Lane. This then becomes Nightingales Lane, and the house is on the left after you pass Roughwood Lane. Parking: roadside.
