Having checked the area around Springwell Lane several times in the last year or so I have still to find it - using Googlemap's satellite imagery hasn't helped either, and no record can be matched for the Royal Mail post codes! Without any more detail on where it might be I suspect it has now been demolished.

Road: M25 - Exit junction 17 (Maple Cross) and head east on the A412 to the next roundabout. Turn left towards Rickmansworth, and then turn right into a small road next between the cottages and the pumping station on the right hand side. The site of the bungalow might be where the pumping station is now sited. Parking: roadside. +

One bridge does look remarkably similar in a cul-de-sac nearby; the satellite imagery shows this area was under construction at the time it was taken, and this is supported by a local government plan for expansion of the pumping station at that site in 2003. The document also mentions the demolishing of an existing building so maybe this is where the bungalow used to be ...
