Treberfydd House

Treberfydd was built by architect John Loughborough Pearson between 1847 and 1850 for Robert Raikes, and is regarded as one of the finest examples of the Gothic Revival that took place during this period. The house is still home to the Raikes family.

Admission: Open only during August to the public; £2.00 for the gardens, and £2.00 for a tour of the house.

Road: A40 - Follow the A40 to Bwlch (between Brecon and Abergavenny). Head north on the B4560 and then turn left - this road leads to Treberfydd and the house is signposted on the right. +
