Trident Park
Glass Avenue, Cardiff Bay, Wales

Formerly known as Nippon Electric Glass UK

Nippon Electric Glass (UK) used to manufacture glass items, such as for the front of television sets. However, due to a slump in sales and profits with cathode ray tubes making way for LCD and plasma screens, the company was closed down in November 2005.

The 50 acre site was purchased by PMG Developments in 2006 and has been renamed Trident Park. Demolition began in mid 2007, being undertaken by the Cuddy Group.

This location is private and has no or limited access only. The park is currently undergoing heavy reconstruction, and there is no public access so photos can only be really be taken from the roundabout outside.
