Christmas at the pub
, and then everyone rushes out to see a
Christmas Star travel into London
which it then attacks
. Donna finds out someone
called the Doctor is dead
Later in the year, Donna is sacked from her job
Royal Hope is spiritted away. At home she watches
a news report with a Doctor Morganstern
Walking the streets, Donna meets the blonde woman again
who tells her to keep a raffle ticket. She wins, and their prize
is a hotel stay
, but then they watch as
Buckingham Palace is destroyed
, and a mushroom
cloud forms over London
Now homeless they are billeted to Leeds
themselves on a street with many others
At their new home
they see reports of fat coming
to life in America
Later, after the Atmos incident, Donna meets the blonde
again and they chat in
. Later, in the back garden
she and Wilf see the stars disappear, and she then decides to go with
Rose to the UNIT base
. There she discovers the truth about
her life and agrees to go back in time to put things right.
Donna arrives beside some shops
, and then runs to stop
herself from turning right.She "dies" as she is hit
by a lorry
- and her real self tells the Doctor about
"Bad Wolf" ...

On the commentary for the episode it was reported that Shan Shen Alley
was filmed at The Maltings Ltd; the Series Four Companion, however, states
that filming was at Cardiff Royal Infirmary!
