Filming was confirmed in Doctor Who Confidential as being in a steelworks in Newport, but not which one! Most likely Mir Steel, but awaiting verification.

Production Notes

The Hungry Earth and Cold Blood were filmed as Block Four.

29 Sep 2009: Filming was believed to have taken place in Bute Park early in the morning, which most likely ties in with the scenes with Rory and Amy together at the end of the episode.
