The War Machines

The TARDIS arrives back on Earth , but the Doctor scents something wrong and he and Dodo set off to the Post Office Tower . He meets with Professor Brett and is introduced to the computer WOTAN, but later meets a concerned Sir Charles Grover at the Royal Scientific Club.
As a mystery unfolds, Ben agrees to check out a warehouse for the Doctor and heads to it through the market . However, it turns out that WOTAN has created War Machines to take over London. The army are called in but are beaten back .
The War Machines set out on their rampage through London and a warning is made to the population to stay inside . One machine destroys a phone box and another crashes through dustbins . The Doctor decides to capture one and sets up a trap , and he and Sir Charles watch as the plan succeeds . The Doctor modifies the Machine and it heads off back to the Post Office Tower and WOTAN is stopped.
